What's Your Story?

Before, the first thing I do when I receive a fowarded sms in my phone is delete it. But lately, I do give time to read what the forwarded message is about. If it is worth keeping, then I will save it, but if it is really junk then I'll delete it, simple! hahaha

I just want to share to you some of my saved forwarded message, they inspired and served as an eye-opener to me, hope it does the same to you, my beloved family, friends and readers.

1.) Never let anyone make you feel that you don't deserve what you want. You are worthy of our own happiness. What they say doesn't change anything. it doesn't change you unless you let it.

2.) If it's taking all your strength, if its killing your heart, if it's making you bear too much pain and if it's making you ignore everything else. Make sure its worth it. Otherwise, let it go!

3.) Happiness cant be found at the end of the road. It is truly experienced along the way. So, dont take for granted each moment of your life. Find reasons to be happy each day.

4.) True strength of character is not calculated by how well we manage to carry some sizeable load under challenging conditions, but it is perhaps better measured by our ability to remain kind and light spirited, even when we are sure that we can't bear the weight of one more ounce of life.

5.) In life I have realized that grudges are a waste of perfect happiness. Life is too short to be unhapy. So, LAUGH whenever you can, APOLOGIZE when you should nad let go of what you can't change. LOVE deep and FORGIVE quick. Give everything and have no regrets. Take the GOOD with the BAD. Smile even when your sad. LEARN from your mistakes. People CHANGE, things go WRONG but remember LIFE GOES ON SO LIVE IT WELL.. BE HAPPY!

6.) Some wont apreciate what you say or do. But as long as you speak honestly from the heart and let them see who you really are, you'll be fine. This is not a perfect world; this is not a perfect life. So live life the way you want 'coz no matter what you do, people would never run out of something to say against you.

7.) There are battles you have to fight in silence because you know that speaking up, saying something or doing someting will just make you lose...

8.) Sometimes we regret words we said or left unsaid. We are sorry for starts that had bitter endings. For chances we threw away. For choices we should not have made. For signs we ignored, people we hurt and wounds inflicted on them. The past can't be rewritten, but it can teach us lessons. Be thankful for every challenge life has thrown you. For every heartbreak, for every scar. Some pages were turned. Some bridges were burned. Hopefully the lessons you learned made you a better person.

9.) You wont fully enjoy a swing unless you raise your feet from the ground. You wont fully enjoy a boat unless you remove the rope's know from the river bank. Your dog wont fully enjoy its "dog life" unless you remove the chain on its neck. Lesson? Never limit yourself when it comes to happiness, learn how to let go and move on; remember that being happy is a choice. Life is beautiful... you don't let anything hold you back from being happy...

10.) Getting over a painful experience is much like crossing monkey bars. You got to let go at some point in order to move forward. Be willing to let go of a life you had in order to have the life that's waiting for you...

11.) Life isn't al about waiting for the storm to pass, its learning to dance in the rain. Its singing in the car when yo dont even know all the words. Its giving your whole heart to someone even if you are a little scared at first. Its about taking risks and making life worth living because every minute you waste is a minute you'll never get back.

12.) Life is pretty simple: When you are asking for apples and life hands you lemons, make lemonade. If your on your way out and it starts to rain, at least you won't have to water the plants anymore. It's a matter of seeing things in perspective. The benefits may not be immediate nor obvious but you have to know this for sure: There will be problems, there will be struggles. Have faith, enjoy life, take it easy... if today you are picking up the grapes, tomorrow you'll be drinking the wine.

13.) Sometimes what stands between you and your journey is te courage to go out there and see what you're made of.

14.) Only character endures. Nothing speaks louder or more powerfully than a life if integrity. Nothing stands the test like solid character. Character will always win the day. As Horace Greeley wrote: "Fame is vapour, popularity an accident, riches take wing, and only character endures." There is no more eloquent and effective defense that a life lived continually and consistently in integrity. It possesses invincible power to silence your standerers.

15.) After a while, you learn the subtle diffence between holding a hand and chaining a soul... And you learn that love doesn't mean leaning and company doesn't mean security... And you begin to learn that kisses aren't contracts and presents aren't promises.. And you begin to accept your defeats with your head up and your eyes open, with the grace of an adult, not the grief of a child.

16.) I've realized the life is indeed full of contradictions. Sometimes its crazy to be same, need to fall to fly, suffer because you care, unlearn to know the lesson, give up because your strong, wrong to make things right. Nonetheless, life's complexities are also life's source of beauty. We should cry to laugh again, fall apart to be whole again and get hurt to love again.

17.) It is wiser not to expect but to hope. For in expecting, we meet disappointments. Whereas in hoping, we invite surprises and miracles.

18.) Consider yourself a caterpillar. The ones who love you are the nourishing leaves; those who hurt you is the cocoon. Remember you won't become a butterfly without nourishment; you wont develop wings without the cocoon. There are no heroes not villians in life, just people with different roles to teach you one great lesson.... TO FLY!!

So what's life for you and how do you see it, a gift or a punishment? What are your challenges, tasks, risks and tribulations? What are your pains, sufferings and hardships? Are you happy, sad or contended? Are you dreaming for more? How do you cope, recover and learn?

So... What's your story?
